Pregnant Mamas

First of all, Congratulations!

This can be an exciting time in your life, but one that can also feel so new and foreign. If you are new to exercise or if you are wanting to stay active during your pregnancy, but are unsure what to do or how to adjust workouts, I can help. If you are anything like I was during my pregnancies, I craved the guidance, structure and accountability, as well as the flexibility of my workouts. I take out all of the guesswork and give you all the tools and strategies throughout every stage of your pregnancy. Your core and pelvic floor are serious considerations during this time in your life and we want to preserve that strength and function as much as we can control. Expect a combination of strength training, conditioning and cardio style workouts.

You'll feel empowered as you embrace the physical changes of your body, while remaining strong, and prepared for birth.

Postpartum Mamas

Such a rockstar. You did it!

Birth is no easy feat no matter the delivery. This is your opportunity to Reclaim. Reconnect, Rebuild (from the inside out) and Return to the workouts you love.

It won't take long until you get the itch to get moving. Whether it's a walk for fresh air and a bit of freedom or the desire to start feeling like yourself again. You are most likely so in love with your little bundle of joy and wonder how in the world you created something so magical, but one look in the mirror and you don't recognize this new body. Everything now feels different.

Pregnancy and birth are BIG events, girlfriend. First, show yourself some grace and a little extra TLC. I gotchu.

You've just carried a growing baby for 9months. Your core is most likely weak. You've been up all hours of the night to feed, you're exhausted, your shoulders hurt and back aches. Maybe you are experiencing a little pelvic pain, heavy pressure, incontinence or recovering from a significant surgery or tearing.

Soooo mama, before you even think about jumping right back into exercise, let's find a strategy that works for you.

You've entered into an entirely new season of

    motherhood.

That temptation to bounce back to your pre-pregnancy body is REAL. It's tempting. That's all you know. But what if I told you, you can come back even stronger and more resilient than before. ;)

This is the time to ease back into exercise with intention. I don't want you to say "I wish I would have known" like I did way too many times.

Workouts will come in phases that will progress you safely and effectively into the next. We are bombarded with information overload. Exercises that are safe and unsafe, do's and do not's of exercises. I keep it simple. And again, give you the tools and strategies as you enter into this rebuilding phase. It's not just WHAT you do, but HOW and WHY we're performing certain movements. My goal is for you to feel confident in your return to fitness, reclaim the new you, at the same time honoring this significant chapter of your life by reconnecting, rebuilding from the inside out. No more "I wish I would have known"

You'll have the tools, strategies and resources necessary for long term success.

    Believe Me

I found out the hard way. And if it wasn't for my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum experiences,

    these programs wouldn't exist.

I became a pregnancy and postpartum fitness specialist because mothers deserve better. Given alllll things I went through, I felt called to help guide you through your fitness training during these significant chapters of your life. So much may be unpredictable, but there is a lot we can still control when it comes to fitness and exercise while pregnant and early postpartum.

This season may be temporary, but it's significant. You don't need extra pressure to bounce back or lose the baby weight.  You need an intentional fitness plan that considers you, your lifestyle, your goals, will meet you where you are and take you where you'd like to go.

    Meet your Coach

    I’m Rikki.

As soon as I received my doctors clearance to resume "normal physical activity" after an emergency c-section with my first child, I jumped right back to the gym with zero strategy or guidance. I did exactly what I did before I was pregnant. It was all I knew.

"You got cleared, you'll be fine" was the advice I received.

Unknowingly until months later, I self diagnosed myself with diastasis recti after noticing a huge bulge in my abdomen during a fitness class. I took straight to Dr. Google and the more I read and researched I became obsessed. This has ultimately led me to you and the career I have today.

I didn't realize my lack of awareness or how misinformed I was when it came to pregnancy and postpartum fitness. "Just listen to your body" was standard advice. I did until it was too late and was left with an "oh f*ck" what do I do now. No one talks about your core or pelvic floor in a way that is supportive.

Cue all the certifications and me totally geeking out on women's health.

Just a small town girl, with 2 girls of my own, on a mission to help transform pre and postnatal care for women.

    Because you deserve the best!

Motherhood is demanding, exhausting and downright hard

I help prepare you for #momlife. Whether you realize it or not, you are the ultimate strength and endurance athlete. Lifting and carrying all of the things, all day.
