As soon as I received my doctors clearance to resume "normal physical activity" after an emergency c-section with my first child, I jumped right back to the gym with zero strategy or guidance. I did exactly what I did before I was pregnant. It was all I knew.

"You got cleared, you'll be fine" was the advice I received.

Unknowingly until months later, I self diagnosed myself with diastasis recti after noticing a huge bulge in my abdomen during a fitness class. I took straight to Dr. Google and the more I read and researched I became obsessed. This has ultimately led me to you and the career I have today.

 I didn't realize my lack of awareness or how misinformed I was when it came to pregnancy and postpartum fitness. "Just listen to your body" was standard advice. I did until it was too late and was left with an "oh f*ck" what do I do now. No one talks about your core or pelvic floor in a way that is supportive.

Cue all the certifications and me totally geeking out on women's health.

Just a small town girl, with 2 girls of my own, on a mission to help transform pre and postnatal care for women.

My passion for exercise began early when I played every sport under the sun growing up. I continued my athletics into college, where I competed in track and field, which led to triathlons and now has transitioned into a love for small group training strength and conditioning classes. I still have that competitive athlete inside I use as inspiration to help mamas like you train for #momlife and enjoy it, pain and symptom free. Whether you want to continue to pursue your athletic goals, want to feel strong and confident in your body again, simply enjoy fitness and movement in general, or want to belong to a community of uplifting and supportive women, I’ve got you covered.

After having an emergency c-section with my first and a VBAC with a challenging recovery with my second, I found an insane passion for all things pregnancy and postpartum awareness, education and connection. As new moms, we aren’t well informed, we don’t have adequate maternal support, and we often find motherhood feeling lonely and isolating. It doesn’t have to be this way and it shouldn’t. I promise, through my own personal pregnancy and postpartum experiences, lessons learned,  and continued education and years of experience working with dozens of moms just like you, there is a better way.   

My mission is to provide a holistic, supportive approach during pregnancy, early postpartum and beyond so you can feel like you are thriving during these times, not just surviving.

I've been married to my husband 9 years in October (16 years together! WHOA!)

We work together if you can believe it, as owners of CTS Fitness and Performance in Napa, CA!
