10 Topics No One Talks About Post-Baby, but Should Full Interview with Orthopedic & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, Tami Lines, PRPC, WHC

Why didn't anyone tell me!!!

These are all things I wish I would have known going into my pregnancies and postpartum recoveries.

We discuss all topics ranging from sneeze leaks to hemorrhoids to painful sex to c-section scar massage to pelvic floor physical therapy and more.

“Should you ask for a referral to a PFPT even with a non-eventful delivery?”

Mama, EVERY birth is an event. If it was up to me, pelvic floor physical therapy would be standard perinatal care for all mamas. How does any pelvic floor diagnosis affect women emotionally? Is it true that you may not be experiencing any symptoms now, but you could later ie during/after menopause? Mamas may think their only option or solution to resolve leaking or pelvic organ prolapse is surgery. When should surgery be considered? If at all. Why is c-section scar massage important? “How does breastfeeding and hormones affect the healing process?” Sucking in all day, wearing tight clothes. How do these tendencies affect the core and pelvic floor? Tight pelvic floors. What does that mean? Could we be contributing to tension in the pelvic floor?

Are kegels always necessary? Constipation. Hemorrhoids.

So common. So uncomfortable.

We talk toiletry mechanics and strategy. Why bearing down and pushing may not be the greatest idea. Suggestions to help improve the discomfort. Pain with sex!

This is a must listen!
